Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to job sites efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assist with site cleanup, debris removal, and ensuring work areas are safe and organized.
- Basic Construction Tasks: Help with framing, drywall hanging, painting, or other general labor duties under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools (drills, saws) and hand tools safely and correctly as directed.
- Measurements: Assist in measuring and cutting materials to ensure accurate project specifications.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with foremen and team members to coordinate tasks effectively.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Willingness to Work: Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights when necessary.
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to follow instructions.
- Background: No criminal record or safety violations that would prevent access to job sites.
