Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including cleanup, debris removal, and material staging
- Operate hand tools and light machinery (saws, drills, etc.) under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials safely and efficiently
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Support skilled trades with tasks like measuring, cutting, and assembling
- Maintain organized work areas and report hazards immediately
- Complete daily timesheets and adhere to project schedules
Qualifications
- Previous construction or labor experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with weekend availability
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and ability to take direction
