Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Materials: Safely handle and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by digging, grading, and clearing debris as directed by supervisors.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and machinery, including skid steers, forklifts, and generators, under supervision.
- Assembly & Support: Help with on-site assembly of structures, framing, or drywall installation tasks.
- Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by performing daily cleanup duties.
- Communication: Actively communicate with foremen and team members to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand or walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid driver's license and Social Security card.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and available for part-time shifts, including weekends or overtime if needed.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Safety: Must adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
