Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in the setup and preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris and marking areas.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site using hand trucks or forklifts.
- General Labor: Perform manual tasks such as digging trenches, mixing concrete, and assisting skilled tradespeople with their duties.
- Tool Maintenance: Keep tools and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Site Cleanup: Ensure the job site is kept clean and free of hazards at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with hand tools (hammers, saws, etc.) is helpful.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Attendance: Strong commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance.
