Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and prepare construction materials (wood, concrete, steel) for use on the job site.
- Operate hand and power tools (drills, saws, levels) safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and verbal instructions from the Site Foreman.
- Perform basic site preparation including digging, leveling, and debris removal.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols and site etiquette is a plus.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
