Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Tool Operation: Learn to operate basic hand and power tools under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Assisting Trades: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and masons by holding materials, cleaning areas, and performing simple assembly tasks.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleanup of spills and debris after work is completed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure personal and team safety.
Qualifications
- Entry Level: No prior construction experience required; we train the right candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work full-time hours, including weekends if necessary.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid driver’s license and social security card.
