Responsibilities
- Assist in site preparation, excavation, and material handling using heavy machinery
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and hand tools safely
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions for accurate construction tasks
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Load/un construction materials and transport equipment as needed
- Perform basic concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to safety and detail-oriented work ethic
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Team player with clear communication abilities
