Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction duties, including carpentry, masonry, and framing.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment safely to and from the job site.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery, ensuring safe operation protocols are followed.
- Mix concrete, sand, gravel, and cement for foundations and structures.
- Perform general cleanup and maintenance of the work area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License preferred.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Must have reliable transportation to the job site.
