Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment to and from the construction site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various on-site tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Operate basic construction machinery and tools, such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and compressors.
- Perform physical labor, including digging, lifting, and moving heavy objects.
- Read and interpret basic site blueprints and safety plans.
- Report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to the Site Supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous construction labor experience is a plus but not required; we will train the right candidate.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for measuring and material estimation.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and heights.
- Valid New York State Driver's License.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
