Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, loading/unloading, and equipment operation
- Perform site preparation including debris removal, excavation support, and ground leveling
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervision (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Participate in team construction activities including framing, pouring concrete, and finishing work
- Complete daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- No experience required – training provided for all positions
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Memphis area
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
