Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy materials to and from job sites.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various on-site tasks and installations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and strictly adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to understand project requirements.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and distribute them to the correct work areas.
- Perform general site cleanup, preparation, and finishing tasks before, during, and after shifts.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is a plus but not required.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA standards is highly desirable.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
