Responsibilities
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and project execution.
- Prepare and maintain construction sites, ensuring debris removal and site cleanliness.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely under supervision.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials (wood, concrete, steel) according to blueprints.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic math skills and ability to read basic measurements.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with construction safety practices (OSHA 10 preferred).
