The Role:
As a Construction Laborer, you will be an essential part of our project teams, assisting skilled tradespeople with daily operations to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks, including measuring, cutting, and fitting materials.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery (after proper training and certification).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Follow blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
- Perform general site cleanup and waste disposal.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is a plus but not required.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools is a significant advantage.
