Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various construction tasks on-site.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials and equipment.
- Operate power tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Prepare job sites by cleaning, digging, and leveling areas.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Transport tools and materials between job sites as directed.
- Perform basic demolition and site cleanup duties.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards.
- Reliable transportation to the job site.
