Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear, clean, and prepare construction sites, including removing debris and obstacles.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using hand trucks, forklifts, or other heavy machinery.
- Equipment Support: Operate and maintain power tools, such as jackhammers, drills, and saws, under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Trade Assistance: Assist carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with various tasks to support project timelines.
- Measurement & Layout: Measure, cut, and shape wood, concrete, and other materials according to blueprints.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is a plus; however, we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand tools and the ability to use them safely.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow crew members.
- Safety Mindset: Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
