Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including carpentry, drywall hanging, and basic demolition.
- Perform site cleanup and maintenance, ensuring work areas are safe and organized.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools following all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to blueprints and project specifications.
- Perform physical labor, including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the Site Supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Willingness to work a full-time schedule, including weekends or overtime as needed.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
