Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and framers, with various tasks.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools, such as saws, drills, and generators, safely and efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Prepare work areas by clearing debris, mixing concrete, and ensuring proper site organization.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and site-specific instructions to maintain a secure working environment.
- Heavy Lifting: Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy objects as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in general labor or construction is preferred but not strictly required.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time, including weekends and overtime during peak seasons.
- Safety Conscious: Basic knowledge of construction safety standards (OSHA) is a plus.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with supervisors.
