Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks.
- Operate basic construction equipment, such as forklifts, jackhammers, and generators, under supervision.
- Prepare and clean job sites, including removing debris and maintaining safety zones.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure work environment.
- Perform basic measurements and assist with layout tasks.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is a plus.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience in construction or a related field is a major plus.
