Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, excavation, and material handling on construction sites
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (jackhammers, saws, drills)
- Assist carpenters and masons with layout, framing, and finishing tasks
- Ensure site cleanliness and adherence to OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with crew members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction/labor experience required
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic tool proficiency (hammers, saws, drills)
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
