Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled trades with site preparation, cleanup, and equipment operation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized job sites
- Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints accurately
- Transport materials to designated areas using appropriate equipment
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Report safety hazards and maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
