Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and framing
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely using proper lifting techniques
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing tools
- Operate hand/power tools and machinery under supervisor guidance
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific regulations
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout construction phases
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction labor or similar physical work experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform strenuous manual labor
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials handling
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and reliability focus
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and flexible hours
