Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, trenching, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Assist carpenters and masons with framing, concrete pouring, and finishing
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions precisely
- Transport materials using forklifts or other heavy equipment (certification provided)
- Participate in daily safety briefings and emergency drills
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (we provide training)
- Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts including weekends
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
