Responsibilities
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Dig trenches, foundations, and holes for the installation of pipes, wires, and cables.
- Assist in the construction, renovation, and repair of commercial and residential structures.
- Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools (e.g., saws, drills, levels).
- Perform general cleanup of the job site to maintain safety and organization.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and other team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50+ lbs frequently.
- Valid Driver’s License is a plus but not always required.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
