Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Shadow and assist senior technicians with residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installations and repairs.
- Read Blueprints: Learn to interpret electrical plans and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Perform Safety Checks: Help ensure all work areas are compliant with OSHA and local safety regulations.
- Tools & Equipment: Maintain, organize, and use hand and power tools properly under supervision.
- Wire & Terminate: Gain hands-on experience with conduit bending, wiring, and terminal connections.
- Customer Service: Interact with clients professionally to explain progress and address concerns.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No Experience Necessary: We value attitude and work ethic over experience.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with measurements and basic calculations.
- Detail Oriented: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in electrical work.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
