Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, cleanup, and safety protocols
- Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Maintain organized material storage and equipment inventory
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company quality guidelines
- Transport materials via wheelbarrows, dollies, and light machinery
- Assist in concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or heavy labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero tolerance for absenteeism
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
