Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Site Assistance: Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with various tasks, including framing, concrete work, and cleanup.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by removing debris and ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Support: Signal equipment operators to facilitate the safe operation of cranes, hoists, and other heavy machinery.
- Measurement: Measure, cut, and shape stone, concrete, and other materials as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute to job sites.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime when needed.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Weather Resilience: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
