Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris, snow, and obstacles.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various tasks.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Equipment Operation: Operate heavy machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Measurement & Layout: Assist in measuring and marking areas for cutting and assembly.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not required (training provided).
- License: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Safety Conscious: Understanding of basic construction safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Tools: Basic hand tools are a plus.
