Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris, rocks, or other materials.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment using hand and power tools.
- Assist Trades: Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and masons by performing necessary tasks.
- Demolition: Assist in the safe dismantling of structures and removal of waste materials.
- Tool Maintenance: Keep work areas and tools clean and organized at all times.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
- Excavation Support: Operate basic equipment to assist in digging and trenching when required.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Work Ethic: Motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and work hard.
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is a plus but not required (training provided).
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable for full-time shifts.
- Communication: Basic ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Availability: Willingness to work overtime and weekends as project demands require.
