Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks and setups.
- Perform general site cleanup, debris removal, and maintain a tidy work area.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and correctly.
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and site-specific rules at all times.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed by site supervisors.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Valid driver’s license is a plus but not always required.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices.
- Reliable transportation to the job site is mandatory.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
