Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and skid steers, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks and transport them to job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons, with daily tasks and project execution.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting forms for concrete.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods outdoors.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Experience with construction tools and equipment is a plus but not required (training provided).
- Must be willing to work in various weather conditions.
