Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely handle and operate basic construction tools and equipment, including jackhammers, forklifts, and generators.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute building materials to job sites efficiently and accurately.
- Site Preparation: Prepare work areas by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up scaffolding or temporary structures.
- Assist Trades: Provide hands-on support to skilled tradespeople including carpenters, electricians, and masons as directed.
- Quality Control: Assist in measuring, cutting, and fitting materials to ensure precise construction standards.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to all safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and standing on concrete.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain a safe work environment.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid driver’s license or state ID.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
