Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas on the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) by performing manual tasks such as digging, trenching, and mixing concrete.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery, including forklifts and jackhammers, under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Perform basic measurements and calculations to ensure project specifications are met.
- Assist in the assembly of scaffolding, forms, and temporary structures.
- Remove debris and waste materials from the site regularly.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in construction labor, landscaping, or general handyman work is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols and the ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well within a team.
