Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with daily operations and site preparation.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Perform general cleanup and maintenance of job sites to ensure a safe and organized working environment.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools, such as jackhammers, saws, and levels, under supervision.
- Assist in demolition tasks and debris removal as required by project specifications.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure workplace.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials for installation according to blueprints and specifications.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to strict safety guidelines.
- Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
