Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with daily tasks and site preparation.
- Operate heavy machinery, power tools, and handheld equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in strict compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform basic site duties including excavation, leveling, concrete finishing, and debris removal.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, plans, and safety diagrams when directed.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the site supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for long shifts, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights (if applicable).
- Basic math skills for measuring materials and estimating quantities.
- Valid Driverβs License (clean driving record) is a plus but not always required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
