Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including digging, lifting, and carrying construction materials.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Clean and prepare construction sites before and after work to maintain safety standards.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks as directed.
- Ensure all safety protocols and OSHA regulations are followed at all times.
- Transport materials between storage and work areas using dollies or forklifts.
- Measure and cut materials as necessary for project specifications.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record is required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but willing to train the right candidate.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
