Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic tools (shovels, hammers, saws) and equipment under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites by debris removal and safety compliance
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid Florida driver's license (required for equipment operation)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED acceptable)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Duval County
- Team player with strong communication skills
