Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and material handling at construction sites
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradespeople with framing, concrete pouring, and site preparation
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, including debris removal
- Follow strict OSHA safety protocols and report hazards immediately
- Read blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions from supervisors
- Transport materials using carts, dollies, and basic equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Valid driver's license with clean record (preferred)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero tolerance for tardiness
- Previous construction or landscaping experience (preferred but not required)
