Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and ensuring safe work environments
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, loading/unloading, and equipment operation
- Follow blueprints and instructions to perform physical tasks like digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Operate hand/power tools and machinery (e.g., saws, drills, forklifts) with proper training
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor or related experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance for safety violations
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
