Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) and hand tools with precision
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work sites
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material installation
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications accurately
- Perform daily equipment maintenance and safety checks
- Participate in team briefings and project milestone completions
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Class B driver's license preferred (required for equipment operation)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and safety standards
- Experience with power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Reliable transportation to San Francisco worksites
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and flexible schedule
