Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks and site preparation
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Transport materials using equipment like wheelbarrows and forklifts (certification provided)
- Participate in daily site briefings and progress meetings
- Adhere to strict quality standards and project timelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or equivalent physical work background
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
- Must pass pre-employment physical and background check
