Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and securing materials
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and concrete mixers with proper certification
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and basic installation tasks
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to execute construction plans accurately
- Perform site inspections and report potential hazards or structural issues promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
