About the Role:
As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in various projects ranging from commercial renovations to residential builds. You will work under the supervision of foremen and project managers to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Perform digging, trenching, and concrete placement as directed.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations strictly.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with tasks as needed.
- Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or material shortages immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical ability to perform strenuous labor for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, and hold heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid Driver’s License (preferred but not always required).
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
