Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack building materials at job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including framing, drywalling, and concrete pouring.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Prepare and clean job sites daily, including removing debris and ensuring a safe work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment and tools as needed.
- Transport materials between job sites using personal vehicles or company trucks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction or landscaping experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow verbal instructions from supervisors.
