Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various on-site construction tasks, including framing, drywalling, and general cleanup.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials and tools at the job site.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a hazard-free working environment.
- Perform basic measurements, cutting, and fitting of materials as directed by supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area by removing debris and waste.
- Communicate effectively with the crew and project managers to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills for reading blueprints and measuring materials.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
