Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including carpentry, framing, drywall installation, and basic masonry.
- Load and unload building materials from delivery trucks and organize them efficiently at the job site.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and power tools safely and responsibly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by removing debris and adhering to all safety regulations.
- Perform site preparation work, including digging, tamping, and leveling ground for foundations.
- Perform minor cleanup and restoration tasks to ensure projects meet quality standards upon completion.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus but not required.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to read basic blueprints and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as project demands require.
