Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, carrying materials, and operating basic hand/power tools safely
- Assist with site preparation, demolition, cleanup, and debris removal
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) as needed
- Complete daily task logs and report maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum 6 months construction or manual labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic tool operation skills (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday) and punctuality essential
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
