Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, trenching, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Assist carpenters and masons with material installation and site cleanup
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project-specific guidelines
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Maintain organized tool inventory and secure job site equipment
- Perform debris removal and waste management per sustainability standards
Qualifications
- Must be available Saturdays and Sundays (6:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- OSHA 10-hour certification (training provided if needed)
