Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation tasks including excavation and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely
- Assist carpenters/masons with layout and framing work
- Maintain clean job sites by sorting debris and waste
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in extreme temperatures
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Pass background/drug screening pre-employment
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun, 6 AM - 4 PM)
- Experience with concrete, rebar, or scaffolding a plus
