Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Assist carpenters with framing, concrete pouring, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints to support construction accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or related labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts
- Basic tool proficiency (hammers, saws, levels, etc.)
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Raleigh/Virginia area
