Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation
- Execute excavation, demolition, and concrete work under supervisor guidance
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Read blueprints and follow precise construction specifications
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physically demanding tasks in varying weather
Qualifications
- 1+ years of construction or related labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic tool knowledge
- Flexible schedule availability (Saturdays/Sundays, 6am-4pm)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work at heights and in confined spaces
